Cometic uses stainless steel for increased strength, its ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers of the gasket are embossed and coated on both sides with a Viton rubber material designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes. I first found Golden Island Korean BBQ Jerry at Costco years ago, and I've been eating it off and on since then. (Except for lately, when I've been taking a small bag of it to work almost every day.) First of all, I don't like jerky as a rule, it's too tough and hard to eat. This, though, is tender and yummy (technical term). The garlic is just enough, too strong for before coffee, but perfect the rest of the day. I love the sweetness that plays off of the soy sauce. Looks like I find this my current favorite snack.
